"Esthetic Implant Supported Removable Prosthetics"   Dr. Jay Nesvold                      Dr. Nesvold grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2001.  In 2002 he relocated to Boston and completed a General Practice Residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  From here he moved to New Hampshire and in 2005 started a “scratch” dental practice in Portsmouth.  Dr. Nesvold held a faculty position at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for 2 years as an attending doctor in the early years of his practice.  He currently lives in the area with his wife and two children.    "Esthetic Implant Supported Removable Prosthetics"  Course Outline:   Case presentation of 3 to 4 implant supported maxillary overdenture   Different modes of retention will be evaluated with advantages and disadvantages presented   Literature review of accepted success of each mode   Protocols presented for how to proceed with cases prior to implant placement as well as after implant placement   Attendees will be able to;   Identify different forms of maxillary implant supported overdenture retention and the benefits and disadvantages of each   Implement a sequence protocol for treatment planning maxillary implant supported overdentures from start to finish.
